  Aerith Gainsborough (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Aerith Gainsborough
Aerith Gainsborough is the daughter of Professor Gast, and the last full-blood Ancient Ilfana. Twenty days after Aerith was born, she and Ilfana were kidnapped by Hojo, and Gast was shot dead. After they escaped from Hojo. Ilfana died and Aerith was entrusted to Elmyra, who raised Aerith like she was her own daughter. Since then, the Turks have tried to persuede Aerith to come back to ShinRa. Aerith appears in Episodes 12 and 24
  
  Barret Wallace (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Barret Wallace
Barret is a coal-miner who currently lives in the town Corel with his wife. He is in strong favour of bringing the use of Mako Energy into his small town. Barret appears in episode 16
  
  Cait Sith (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Cait Sith
The prototype of the robotic cat later controlled by Reeve in Final Fantasy VII. Cait Sith is used to help out the Turks in the last few episodes of Before Crisis.

Cid Highwind
Cid Highwind is a ShinRa pilot who dreams of, one day, going into outer space. Cid appears in Episode 15 during the failed Rocket launch.
  
  Cloud Strife (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Cloud Strife
Cloud Strife is a shy, young man from the small town of Nibelheim. He always dreamed of becoming a First Class Soldier just like his hero Sephiroth, and to prove himself as a man to the people of his hometown. But he failed his goal and ended up as a lowly ShinRa grunt. Ashamed of this failure, Cloud usually covers his face so people won't recognise him. He develops a close friendship with the Soldier Zack, and often follows Zack along on missions.

Elena
In Before Crisis, Elena is a highschool student and the younger sister of "Gun". She dislikes her sister, because "Gun" has always been better than her and has always outdone her. She also despises the Turks.
  
  Elfe / Felicia (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Elfe / Felicia
After the founder of AVALANCHE died, Elfe became their leader. She is the daughter of Veld, the leader of the Turks. Wielding a katana, Elfe was raised to be an expert fighter. She is quiet, and very non-charismatic. Elfe's body holds a summon materia named "Zirconiade" and after Fuhito draws the summon from her, she slowly begins to weaken
  
  Fuhito (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Fuhito
The brains behind AVALANCHE. Fuhito is in charge of a battle plans, and provides AVALANCHE with support using strategic and methods. He has an intense hatred for ShinRa, and wishes to destroy all life on the Planet so as to remove all potential threats from it. He plans to extract the summon materia deep inside Elfe to fulfill his plans. Fuhito has also created a genetically enhanced AVALANCHE group known as the "Ravens" who serve as his own personal attack squad. The Ravens have enhanced fighting skills and can immediately heal fatal wounds. They are no longer mortal. If a Raven fails it's duty, or shames the Raven squad, Fuhito disposes of them without second thought.
  
  Heidegger (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Heidegger
Heidegger is Shin-ra's Head of the Public Safety Maintenance Department and the chief of its military. Most people regard him as annoying and brash, especially the Turks, whom he hates. .He is a strong believer in using brute force to settle an argument. Heidegger briefly takes command of the Turks during Before Crisis, displaying nothing but contempt for their capabilities until Veld manages to regain his position as the Turk leader, after bargaining with President Shinra
  
  Hojo (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Hojo
The head od ShinRa's Science Research Department, and the man who killed Professor Gast. He gets a sick, twisted pleasure out of torturing and experimenting on humans and animals. It was Hojo who implanted the summon materia into Elfe.
  
  Nanaki [Red XIII] (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Nanaki [Red XIII]
Nanaki, the fire-tailed creature, makes a small appearance in Before Crisis, only appearing in Episode 4. He lives a peaceful life in Cosmo Canyon, before ShinRa started getting involved. A few years later, ShinRa capture him to breed more of his species.
  
  President Shinra (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
President Shinra
President of the ShinRa Power and Electrical Company. He controls the world's people through media, claiming that ShinRa is doing all it can to help them. In truth, he is a cruel and heartless man who has no interest in helping anyone buy himself.
  
  Reeve Tuesti (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Reeve Tuesti
Reeve is Shin-ra's Minister for Housing and Urban Development. He designed Midgar and it's reactors. He is also currently creating prototypes of his pet robot Cait Sith.
  
  Reno (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Reno
Despite his laid-back attitude and messy appearance, Reno takes great pride in being a member of the Turks, though he is quite unprofessional about it. He is good friends with Rude, and is the only one who can get the bald Turk to socialize. Reno has an unusual speech pattern in Japanese, speaking in a drawling manner and ending each sentence with the phrase "zoto" or simply "to" - something that can not be translated into English. He officially becomes partners with Rude at the beginning of Before Crisis.

Rude
Rude is a young Turk, who is often quiet and does not socialize much. He is very protective of his fellow Turks, especially his close friend Reno. Despite his mild manner, Rude is also a very powerful fighter. He and Reno officially became partners at the beginning of Before Crisis.
  
  Rufus Shinra (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Rufus Shinra
Known as the "pretty boy" of ShinRa. Rufus is the son of President Shinra and Vice-president of the Shin-Ra company. He has no respect for his father, and has very different views of how the world should be controlled. He believes in ruling the people through power and fear, and is very good at manipulating others for his own personal gain. He does not have much influence over the ShinRa company, and is usually away on long business trips, but he soon plans on destroying his father and taking over the company.
  
  Scarlet (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Scarlet
A rude and cold-hearted woman. Scarlet is the head of Shin-Ra's Weapons Development Department. She appears late in the game, attempting to carry out President ShinRa's orders to assasinate the Turks for their betrayal of the company.
  
  Sears (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Sears
Second in comand of AVALANCHE, and the second strongest member of the group (besides Elfe) He is in charge of formulating battle strategies and is an excellent hand-to-hand combatist. He does not get along with Fuhito, and they often get into arguments over the way Fuhito speaks to Elfe.
  
  Sephiroth (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Sephiroth
The legendary First Class Soldier, and prototype for ShinRa's Soldier program. Sephiroth is the result of the Jenova project - an experiment where Hojo injected Jenova cells into Sephiroth before he was born. Everyone looks up to Sephiroth and is the role model for many young men (including Cloud Strife) who set off to Midgar in the hopes of joining Soldier and becoming "the next Sephiroth" He wields a long, thing katana-type sword named the Masamune.
  
  Shalua Rui (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Shalua Rui
A young woman who despises ShinRa for stealing away her little sister, as a ransom to persuede her to become a Soldier. She refused, and ever since she has been looking for ways to recover her sister from ShinRa. She appears in episode 21 Years later Shalua will become a scientist and join Reeve's World Restoration Order.
  
  Tifa Lockheart (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Tifa Lockheart
Tifa Lockheart is a strong, young girl who lives in the small town of Nibelheim. She was trained to fight by the martial arts expert Zangan, and has become a tour guide for visitors who wish to travel through Mount Nibel. She appears in episode 12
  
  Tseng (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Tseng
Field leader of the Turks, and second in command to Veld. Tseng is polite and respects his superiors, though he sometimes has trouble controlling his anger. He is veloyal to Veld and has a great admiration for him. When given the order to assasinate Veld, Tseng can not go through with it, and instead he leads the Turks into betraying the ShinRa company.
  
  Verdot (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Verdot
The leader of the Turks and a very well respected man. Verdot is very particular when it comes to completing mission, and he does not tolerate failure. He cares deeply for the Turks and does not wish any pain or suffering on them. He was formerly a resident of Kalm, and had a daughter and a wife. But they were said to be killed when somebody misinterpreted orders to destroy the small town. In actual fact, his daughter was not killed. It is later revealed that the leader of AVALANCHE, Elfe, is his daughter.
  
  Vincent Valentine (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Vincent Valentine
A pretty, young man and former Turk. Vincent fought against the Jenova project many years ago, and was shot and experimented on by Hojo. Vincent was an old colleague of Veld's and appears briefly at the end of Before Crisis, when the Turks find him in his coffin.
  
  Yuffie Kisaragi (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Yuffie Kisaragi
A young female ninja from Wutai, and the daughter of it's leader, Godo. Yuffie is only ten years old in Before Crisis, and yet she has a strong hatred for both AVALANCHE and ShinRa, blaming them for the decay of Wutai. She appears in Episode 14
  
  Zack / Zax (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Zack / Zax
One of the best First Class Soldiers around. Zack has a close friendship to both Sephiroth and Cloud Strife. Many are caught off guard by his seemingly carefree and upbeat personality, and he's considerate to all of his allies and has a strong sense of duty and friendship
  
  [Turk] "Gun" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
One of the main playable characters. "Gun"'s father was a teacher at the Shin-ra military academy, where she attended. She is also the sister of Elena, hence the resemblance. She easily graduated the academy and became an excellent marksman. Because of her skills with a gun, Tseng recruited her for the Turks. She has a very different personality to her sister - being very serious and strict, she rarely jokes around.
  
  [Turk] "Katana" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
A swordsman born in Gongaga, "Katana" does not like to hang around the same place for too long. He was feared by the people of his hometown, and imprisoned for a long time after killing an entire group of men to save a friend. He was set free on the condition that he would join the Turks. Of course, he accepted. He also has a soft spot for beauty. "Katana" first appears in Episode 14

A new female Turk who appears alongside [Turk] "Katana" in the new logos for the AU version of Before Crisis for EZweb. Her role is unclear, though it is expected that she will only be playable in the EZweb version of the game.
  
  [Turk] "Legend" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
A man from Junon, he was a super-first class agent who was once feared on the battlefield as the "God of Death", and is nicknamed the "Legendary Turk". His fame attracts a great deal of attention, though he is intensely private in both his official and personal life. He uses both chain bombs and remote controlled bombs in battle. He becomes a playable character after completing Episode 24, and can be used for Episode 10 and on.

An ex-detective from Costa del Sol. "Martial Arts" is a passionate and courageous man, who tends to rely on his emotions yo get him through things. Because of this, he got into trouble with his detective job, but was soon after recruited to he Turks. He becomes a playable character in Episode 7, when Veld decided they need more "Man power" to take on AVALANCHE
  
  [Turk] "Martial Arts" (female) (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
"Martial Arts" (female) is a new recruit to the Turks. She is an ex-mercenary and has no problems with taking orders or quickly finishing off missions. Because of this, she has adjusted to her role as a Turk quite easily. She is swift and very skilled with kicking, which has become her primary means of attack. She is also very level-headed, and is able to assess situations better than most of the other Turks. "Martial Arts" (female) first appears in Episode 7
  
  [Turk] "Nunchaku" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
A young man born into a wealthy family. Despite being raised in an environment where he could buy anything he ever wanted, he wasn't happy, and demanded to join the Turks in order to seek out a new life of his own. The Turks code is very dear to him, and he follows their ideals every day. He is a short-range fighter, using nunchaku in battle. [Turk] Nunchaku appears in Episode 1, only in the Softbank version.
  
  [Turk] "Rod" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
One of the main playable characters. "Rod" is a former gang leader from Junon, and is very skilled at hand-to-hand combat and fixing motorbikes. He was arrested by Reno after attemptiong to steal a bike from the ShinRa Company parking lot. Veld soon recognised his abilities and recruited "Rod" into the Turks. He has, since then, become an expert at using a metallic rod (similar to Reno's) as a weapon.
  
  [Turk] "Shotgun" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

A female hunter from a wealthy family. She has been an expert with the shotgun ever since she was a child, spending most of her life hunting. She is constantly trying to outdo herself and others, and was immediately accepted into the Turks because of her determination. She has a habit of being a bit bratty, and is always showing off.
  
  [Turk] "Shuriken" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
A young woman who's birthplace is unknown. It is speculated that "Shuriken" is from the town of Wutai, because of the massive ninja star she weilds. She is very maternal, and looks after the Turks like a mother. She was orphaned as a child and recruited by the Turks, then brought up under harsh training techniques. She is the youngest person ever to join the Turks. She first appears in Episode 18
  
  [Turk] "Two Guns" (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
[Turk]
"Two Guns" is a former bodyguard of Don Corneo. He became sick and tired of the slums and how politics had overrun the underworld societies. He was soon recruited by the Turks, but because of his "underground" style of conducting missions, he often fails.
