Unlike previous Final Fantasy Games, FFVI has a choice of 14 characters who you will at one point or another use. What makes this even more different to other FF's is that you will at one point or another be split up into groups and only by working together can they reach the end.

Celes (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Celes Chere Age: 18 Height: 5'9" Special Skill: Runic A young girl, the product of genetic engineering, with the ability to use magic while she was young. Celes is the only other character besides Terra who is able to use Magic without the need of Magicite, however she needs the Magicite to learn the more advanced spells. A former Imperial general, Celes is branded a traitor after doubting the Empire and its intensions.

Cyan (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Cyan Garamonde Age: 50 Height: 5'10" Special Skill: SwdTech As old he is, he is wise, Cyan is an extremely skilled andpowerful swordsman. Faithful retainer to his family's liege and the Kingdom of Doma which is poisoned anddestroyed by Kefka. As one of the few survivors, he witnessed the death of his family and blamed it upon himself for not being able to save them. He joins the team to help with the demise of Kefka.

Edgar (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Edgar Roni Figaro Age: 27 Height: 6'2" Special Skill: Tools King of Figaro, and brother to Sabin, Edgar is a self-proclaimed ladies man, and master mechanic. Living in a castle equipped with powerful engines, enableing it to burrow and traverse underground to surface onto deserts. He pretends to be an Imperian supporter when in actual fact he is a part of the the returners.

Gau (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Gau Age: 13 Height: 5'3" Special Skill: Rage A youth left to survive against all olds in the wild that is Veldt. Gau has lived amongst the wild monsters as far as he can remember. Joining the party only when his hunger is satisfied.

Gogo (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Gogo Age: N/A Height: 5'5" Special Skill: Mimic A character of few words and mystery, Gogo joins the team through their travels in the caves of Triangle Island. Gogo has the ability to copy those around him accurately and so he joins the party to assist in their cause.

Locke (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Locke Cole Age: 25 Height: 5'9" Special Skill: Steal --> Capture A professional Treasure Hunter that uses his skills for theft, although is very adamant that he is not a theif. Having felt the loss of love, and having those memories rekindled by the arrival of Terra, Locke feels it is his duty to help her and keep her safe until her memory has fully returned.

Mog (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Mog Age: 11 Height: 4' Special Skill: Dance The Human-loving, fast-talking Moogle is one cool character. He is rescued by the group after being held hostage in Narshe by the pickpocket, Lone Wolf. In return he tells them of the Esper Ramuh who came to him in a dream telling the party was coming his way. Determined to seek answers to his dreams, he joins the party to assist in their cause.

Relm (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Relm Arrowny Age: 10 Height: 5' Special Skill: Sketch --> Control Relm's artistic ability capture all things around her including the essence of life itself. By drawing pictures hat are so real they actually spring to life she helps out the party. Despite her grandfather Strago's order that she's not to join the party, she saves the party from an encounter with Ultros. She loves Shadow's dog Interceptor, and has an unknown connection to him.

Sabin (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Sabin Rene Figaro Age: 27 Height: 6'3" Special Skill: Blitz Twin brother to Edgar and heir to the throne of Figaro. However after the death of his father he left the throne for his own freedom. A martial artist at heart, he studied under Duncan a master in the Blitz Skills. He searches for Vargas the student which killed his master, when he thought that Sabin would succeed him. Along the search he meets the team and agrees to help stop the Imperial force.

Setzer (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Setzer Gabbiani Age: 27 Height: 5'9" Special Skill: Slot ---> GP Rain A gambler in at heart and a free-spirit, Sabin has a taste for taking chances and loves classy opera. In love with the opera house diva named Maria he meets Celes with the intent of using his airship to get to the Imperial capital of Vector. After realizing the destruction and chaos the imperials have caused Setzer agrees to give them the airship and joins the team.

Shadow (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Shadow Age: N/A Height: 5'10" Special Skill: Throw A skilled mercenary that owes allegiance to no one, and works only for money. Shadow is haunted by dreams of a past life as a thief. He travels with his faithful dog, Interceptor whos is his truest of friends. Interceptor takes on an unusual liking to Relm. He joins the party in exchange for money and can be a great ally.

Strago (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Strago Magus Age: 70 Height: 4'11" Special Skill: Lore Grandfather to Relm, he lievs in the small town of Thamasa. Strago is one of the last decendants of powerful Blue magic users. The party rescues his Relm from a burning building, and he insists on repaying them by joining their party and fighting for their cause along with Relm who decides she wants to come and will not take NO for an answer.

Terra (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Terra Branford Age: 18 Height: 5'7" Special Skill: Morph The Empire wants her for her ability to use magic, she was once a slave to that very empire. Terra however has a mysterious past and no idea who her true identity is. Her quest for the truth and answers about her life, leads her to Locke and the members of the returners. Half Esper she uses her powers to help her returners against the evil empire and save her fellow Espers.

Umaro (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Name: Umaro Age: 4 Height: 6'10" Special Skill: Storm, Rage Found deep in the icy caves beneath Narshe, Umaro engages the party through his beast-like warrior instinct. Although he has powerful strength, it can be matched. After he is defeated, hedecides to join the party, respecting and sharing their strength andcourage.
