After having met up with Lenna and Galuf at the crash site of Galuf's meteor, Bartz reluctantly joins the two on a quest that will eventually lead him beyond any of his expectations.

A man of the seven wide seas, Faris is a hearty fellow who for some reason, happens to have a pendant that strongly resembles that of Princess Lenna's. There are many mysteries behind Faris. Never one to allow another in close proximity lest they discover his secret, he becomes a trustworthy and very reliable ally, once he proves his worth to the party. Faris does not like to be left behind, and those that forget about him are often found at the brunt end of his jokes.

Often referred to as an old coot, Galuf is a man of many mysteries and no memory. He was discovered by both Bartz and Lenna at the crash site of a giant meteor. Claiming that he does not know anything other than his name, he joins the party with a fervent desire to prevent the crystals from shattering. Old, wise, witty and sometimes sarcastic, Galuf is a very amiable travel partner.

The quaint, yet determined Princess of Tycoon. She embarks upon a quest to locate her father after he leaves to investigate the abation of the wind, and does not return. Lenna acts as the mediator to the party, and is always diplomatic in her opinion, never taking sides. She always puts others first, which whilst makes others worry over her, she has received a lot of respect. Lenna will one day become a great Queen of Tycoon.
