Qu's Marsh is located near Conde Petie and Black Mage Village. The huge dying forest is referring to the forest on the world map that you must travel through to get to Black Mage Village. The treasure chest will contains: 9 Phoenix Pinion, 5 Phoenix Down, 12 Peridot, 1 Diamond Gloves.

"I hear there's a sunken treasure near a peninsula in the southern part of the Outer Continent, kupo." Return to the Lifa Tree and go south to the water. This is where the "sunken trasure" is located. You should be able to dig it up as it's in shallow water. The treasure chest will contains: 6 Soft, 4 Ether, 1 Feather Boots, 1 N-Kai Armlet.

Between Mountains

"Go look near the mountains facing the ocean on the southwest side of the Mist Continent, kupo!" Return back to Lindblum and the Dragons Gate, however, as you approach the Dragons Gate go right past it and continue round the mountains. You should come to a gap between two mountains. Dig in that location. The treasure Chest Will Contain: 5 Potion, 5 High Potion, 2 Tent, 2 Cotton Robe.

If you look to the west of Qu's Marsh you should see a small island. This is where the treasure chest is located. Healing Shore

"I've seen a beach that looks like this near a city with high winds, kupo." Head to the location of Cleyra (assuming you've already advanced past Disc 1 in Burmecia). If you continue west, past Cleyra, you will come to a gap between the mountains which opens up onto some land and a beach. On this land is the trasure chest. Information

Chocobo's are now considered as something necessary for all Final Fantasy games and Final Fantasy IX is no exception. In Final Fantasy IX Chocobos are introduced to the game in the form of a side quest. This side quest is called "Chocobo Hot & Cold". There are three locations you can use to play this game. Chocobo Forest, Chocobo Lagoon and Chocobo Sky-Garden. To see where you can find these on the world map, click the image on the left. The idea behind the game is using Choco (the name of your Chocobo) to dig for treasure. As you continue to dig for treasure you will come across a piece of stone with the picture of a location on it. These are called chocographs. These chocographs locate to treasure chests that Choco can dig up on the world map. These often contain useful and rare items/equipment. Getting better as you go through the side quest. These can be in different continents and getting them can be very tricky so some chocographs will also upgrade Choco to a better version. There are four versions: Field, Reef, Ocean and Sky. As it's one of the most popular side quests and one of the hardest, we have compiled a list and location guide for all Chocographs. They do not go in numerical order but the order in which you should go through them during the side quest.

Half way down the continent, go west and you should then be close to finding the treasure chest. It's near the edge of the map. As you crossed the small bridge over the river to reach Chocobo Forest, you may have seen a small beach near the end of the river as it meets the ocean.
