Combat King (needs to be ported to the wiki!) The Combat King series teaches Zell more techniques that can be used during his limit break, Duel. Once a magazine has been read, the techniques will show up as new options during his limit break. Combat King 001 -Bottom floor of D District Prison Combat King 002 -Given to you after Fujin and Raijin in Balamb Combat King 003 -Girl who has a crush on Zell, Balamb Hotel Combat King 004 -Second visit to Esthar, from Esthar Soldier Combat King 005 -While exploring Lunatic Pandora as Squall

Occult Fan (needs to be ported to the wiki!) The Occult Fan magazines give hints on how to get the GF Doomtrain. Occult Fan I - Examine the bookcase near the entrance to the second section of Balamb Garden Library. Occult Fan II - after beating the owner of the Dollet Pub at cards, you are allowed access to his private room. You can find the magazine by clicking randomly on the various piles of objects scattered around. Occult Fan III - Upon arriving at FH, make your way down the ladders (before leaving the scaffolding and reaching the main part of town) until you find the master fisherman, who you saw in the fmv. Choose the less polite option and he'll give you the magazine in honour of your spirit. Occult Fan IV - Dropped by a Presidential Aid in Esthar's Presidential Palace, before going into outer space.

Pets Pals (needs to be ported to the wiki!) The Pets Pals magazines enable Rinoa and her dog, Angelo, to learn new limit breaks together. When you have read the magazine, you can go to Rinoa's status screen. If you press 'x' a few times, her limit break information will appear. You can then select which technique to learn. After walking around with Rinoa in the party for a while, Angelo will learn his new trick. Timber Maniacs (needs to be ported to the wiki!) Collecting the Timber Maniacs series allows Selphie to update the Laguna section of her website (accessible from the computers in Balamb Garden from Disc 2), providing more information about the character's past. The magazines will not appear in your inventory, so it may be difficult to keep track of those that you have found. 1. You can find this in either the bedroom in Balamb Hotel, or in Balamb Train station. If you pick it up in one location, you will not find it in the other. 2. On the floor in the Timber Maniacs Office building. 3. In the bedroom of Timber Hotel. 4. In the grease monkey's house in FH. 5. In the bedroom of FH hotel. 6. Behind one of the gravestones in Trabia Garden. 7. In the bedroom of Dollet Hotel. 8. In Dollet Pub (the one near the junk shop). 9. In the artisans house in Shumi village. 10. On the bridge of the White SeeD Ship. 11. Inside Edea's orphanage. There is also a magazine in Zell's mother's kitchen. When you examine it, a message comes up saying "You found a copy of Timber Maniacs.......not!" The screen does not turn black when reading this magazine as it does with the others.

Weapons Monthly (needs to be ported to the wiki!) The Weapons Monthly magazines provide information on the items required for each characters various weapon upgrades. When you find each magazine the weapons noted within are added to the shop list, whether you have the items required or not. If you happen to have all the items required, the weapon will appear as an option with or without the magazine. March: You gain this item automatically upon defeating Elvoret at the Dollet Communication town during the SeeD exam. April: After returning from meeting Quistis at the training centre, Zell will tell you you now have your own room. After resting (automatically) you can find the magazine on Squall's new desk. May: This item is in the Deling City sewers. Although you can see it when you first visit there, you cannot actually get it until later in the game. Return to Deling City in Disc 2, and explore the sewers to find it. June: You gain this item automatically upon defeating BGH521F2 at the Missile Base on Disc 2. July: From Disc 3 you can find this item lying on the ground in the west part of the training centre. August: Six steps south of Trabia fountain, near where Selphie and her friend are talking. Walk very carefully towards the front of the screen, and you should see it on the ground about half a second before you walk off the screen. First: Dropped by Odine at the Lunatic Pandora Research Center during the last Laguna scenario on Disc 3.
