  Bikanel Digging

Digging for Treasure in the Bikanel Desert There are all sorts of treasure and goodies buried in the sands of Bikanel. All you have to do is go find it! When digging you will find machine parts, items like potions, and coins for playing Sphere Break! (See Sphere Break explanation below)
What you need to do to be able to dig in Bikanel

In order to search for treasure on Bikanel, you must first receive a letter of acceptance from Gippal at the Djose Temple. Secondly, it is wise once you have this letter to go right there and help the Al Bhed Camp out with a few problems to further your percentage complete, and to get to the point where you are free to dig for whatever treasure you want.   Blitzball

What is Blitzball? Blitzball is very similar to football/soccer. Two Goals and the aim is to win by scoring. Blitzball itself hasnt changed alot since FFX however, the role that you play has completely changed. In FFX you got to control the characters and got to choose what attacks, or shots or even passes that the charachters used. However in FFX-2 this is no more. In FFX-2 you get the play the character of the manager and you choose how to train the team. You get to choose the formations of the team, and you get to recruit new characters. This may sound familar to FFX however theres a big difference. This has been created to point out those differences and help you become a professional when it comes to Blitzball. For more indepth help with Blitzball see this FAQ: Blitzball-2 FAQ: By KSheth

  Sphere Break

In-Game Tutorial There is an in-game tutorial on how to play Sphere Break. If you enter Luca and go to the left of the Blitzball sign up desk in the Blitzball Stadium, you will find a small guy that will teach you how to play. Also you will find alot of people there willing to challenge you! When you are playing Sphere Break during the tournament the same little guy will be just beside Rin at the Square staircase, and you can get the information on how to play from him there! How To Play How Do you Win? To win this game, you have to combine the numbers on the border and entry coins to make multiples of the core number. The number in the middle of the grid is your core number. The four coins you have entered are your entry coins and the border coins are randomly generated. All coins have numbers from 1-9. Border Coins 12 coins that are in blue-purpish in colour. They live up to their names and border the grid. They dissappear after you use it. Entry Coins 4 coins that are in yellowish colour. They are in the center of the grid surrounding the core number. Entry Coins are from your own personal stash. These entry coins do not dissappear after use, but will not add to the quota every time you use it. You MUST use an entry coin first for each turn before you can select any border coins to make your multiples. Core Number This sphere is in bright blue and directly in the middle of the game grid. This sphere cannot be used in adding your multiples, it only serves as an indicator of what multiples you should be looking for. Quota Quota can be a little confusing. Only border coins count as your quota, so you must try to use as many border coins as possible in a high quota game. For each border coin you use, you get one quota. Turn Each time you make a multiple of the core sphere, the game ends and another number will appear. These are considered turns. You have only a certain amount of turns to make your quota, or else you lose! The amount of turns given varies from opponent to opponent. Time Limit You only have a certain amount of time in each turn to make your multiple. Each opponent has a different time limit so keep your eye on the clock! If the time runs out before you have your mutliple you automatically lose your match. Still Confused? Don't fear. This mini game does seem a bit daunting at first, but in all reality, it becomes quite simple once you have invested some practice into it. It is worth learning this game in order to win the Lady Luck Dress Sphere from Shinra. (You can win it from him during Chapter Three's Luca Sphere Break Tournament, or you can go back and find him in the Locker room hallway on the right in the Blitzball Stadium after that.) For an indepth explaination of the game and the different coins you can find around Spira, check out the following FAQ! Final Fantasy X-2 Sphere Break FAQ; Written by Sakuracream
