Free Mini/Toad spells

In the healing spring near the Gnome village, you'll find a gnome that gives you a Mini spell if you've taught one of your party members the spell. You can keep doing this (teach Mini to a party member and get Mini from the gnome) up to 4 times. The same can be done with the Blindman that gives you the Toad spell.
