[edit] Battle System

Final Fantasy Dimensions uses the Active Time Battle system. There can be up to five characters in a battle. Each character has a gauge, and when the gauge is filled, the player can choose an action for that character. When the gauge fills again, the character will perform the action.

The Job System in Final Fantasy Dimensions is similar to the Final Fantasy V system. A character grows in a job by earning AP after battle.
