The Weapons Monthly magazines provide information on the items required for each characters various weapon upgrades. When you find each magazine the weapons noted within are added to the shop list, whether you have the items required or not. If you happen to have all the items required, the weapon will appear as an option with or without the magazine.

March: You gain this item automatically upon defeating Elvoret at the Dollet Communication town during the SeeD exam.

April: After returning from meeting Quistis at the training centre, Zell will tell you you now have your own room. After resting (automatically) you can find the magazine on Squall's new desk.

May: This item is in the Deling City sewers. Although you can see it when you first visit there, you cannot actually get it until later in the game. Return to Deling City in Disc 2, and explore the sewers to find it.

June: You gain this item automatically upon defeating BGH521F2 at the Missile Base on Disc 2.

July: From Disc 3 you can find this item lying on the ground in the west part of the training centre.

August: Six steps south of Trabia fountain, near where Selphie and her friend are talking. Walk very carefully towards the front of the screen, and you should see it on the ground about half a second before you walk off the screen.

First: Dropped by Odine at the Lunatic Pandora Research Center during the last Laguna
scenario on Disc 3.
