Al Bhed is a race from Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. Aside from the main race in Spira, there exist a few others. The Al Bhed are generally mysterious and misunderstood. They were once a nomadic race, as they searched for a home. Now, they call Bikanel Island home. Although the Al Bhed are generally looked down upon, their intentions are pure, and many times throughout the adventure they assist Yuna and her Guardians.

The Al Bhed are known for accepting the use of machina and speaking their own type of language, largly varying from the English spoken by many of the other races in Spira.
