Anastasis is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XII voiced by Dwight Schultz in English. He is the Gran Kiltias of the Kiltia sect, based in Mt. Bur-Omisace. He claims to be able to see more than those that are awake.
When the party reaches the temple, Ashe asks the Gran Kiltias for a power greater than nethicite to fight the Empire. Anastasis sends her to the Stilshrine of Miriam to find the Sword of Kings. Just outside of Anastasis' chambers, Al-Cid Margrace informs Larsa that his father, Emperor Gramis, has been slain.
After the party leaves, Archadian forces attack Mt. Bur-Omisace. Larsa leaves with Judge Gabranth, while Judge Bergan slays Gran Kiltias Anastasis. When the party arrives, they see Bergan standing over Anastasis’ dead body.
Gran Kiltias Anastasis' death causes the release of the two creatures that he had kept sealed: Fafnir and Piscodaemon.
