Angeal Penance is a boss fight from Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Angeal Hewley turns into this boss by fusing with some monsters on the 2nd Floor of the Modeoheim Bathhouse. It also appears in Mission 5-1-6.

Strategy

Zack's high emotions will help the DMW, likely netting you a couple Limit Breaks during the battle. Equip a Lightning Armlet if you have one. Avoid Angeal Penance's charging attack by dodging and running and attacking from behind for critical hits. If you have enough MP, you can cast Firaga for some good damage. Some of Angeal Penance's attacks include Thunder, Envy, and End of Gluttony, but they can all be dodged. He can also cast Barrier and MBarrier, which only serve to lengthen the battle. You can cast Dispel at him or just keep swinging away until he goes down.
