Strategy
Equip Black Belts if you have them before entering battle. Antlion comes with the company of some Killer Mantises. You have to quickly eliminate them before Antlion eats them. It’ll use Cannibalize, whereby it consumes a Killer Mantis and increases its own level. If you can lure a couple Mantises away without Antlion’s attention, do so and eliminate them. Use Aero to do major damage to the other Mantises and take them out as fast as possible. Once they are all gone, you can focus on Antlion. Cast Silence and Slow on the mark, and keep it contained in the little area you find it in. Otherwise, it will leave and Cannibalize any Mantises in the surrounding area. Use physical attacks and Aero to do the most damage. When Antlion’s HP gets low, it will start to cast Disable, but if you have Black Belts, you’ll be protected. If not, be ready with Esuna, and continue the battle until this mark is dead.

Bonus
After defeating Antlion and collecting your reward, you’ll be told about a key that fell near the sea. Travel to the Phon Coast and look for the Fallen Bhujerban. Next to him is a Small Key that turns out to be the Site 11 Key (which is required to complete the hunts for both Diabolos and the Ancient Man of Mystery).
