Astrologian is a new class in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that was introduced in the 3.0 patch, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward. It can be unlocked after the completion of the Main Scenario quest "Before the Dawn" by accepting and finishing the quest "Stairway to the Heavens."

"This new job harnesses the power of the stars to cast potent healing magicks while drawing energies for supporting magicks from constellation-based divining cards. These cards swirl around the star globe, the Astrologian's main arm, and can be used in different combinations for different effects. Like the other jobs in Heavensward, no base class will be involved.


Ever has men coveted knowledge, and none more so than that of his fate. Thus did he labor to master the skill of foresight — but initial efforts bore little fruit. That is, until he looked to the stars above, which foretell the coming seasons, and learned to read the heavens. Though this gift is known today as astrology, the people of Sharlayan saw fit to not only read the stars, but to write their movements as well. By attuning their aetherial energies to that of constellations, they learned to wield magicks with heretofore unseen properties. Thus was astromancy born — a new form of magick which grants its users power over fate. Employing a star globe and divining deck in their miraculous deeds, fortune always smiles upon these masters of arcana."

22 Stella Spell Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 100. AST
26 Benefic II Spell Restores target's HP. Cure potency: 620 AST
30 Draw Ability Card is drawn from your diving deck. Execute command again to use card drawn. Only one card can be drawn at a time.

Recast timer cooldown will begin once the drawn card has been read, of the Drawer time expires.

50 Synastry * Ability Generate an aetheric bond with target party member. Each time you cast a healing spell on a party member not under the effect of Synastry, the party member with which you have the synastry bond will also recover HP equaling 50% of the original spell. AST
52 Gravity * Spell Deals unaspected damage to a target and enemies near it with a potency of 200 for the first enemy, 10% less for the second, 20% less for the third, 30% less for the fourth, 40% less for the fifth, and 50% less for all remaining enemies. AST

56 Time Dilation * Ability Extends the duration of beneficial effects you cast on a target by 15 seconds.
58 Collective Unconscious * Ability Creates a wheel of fortune around the caster. Effect granted to party members upon entry differs depending on active Sect. Can only be executed when a Sect is active. Effect ends upon using another action or moving.
