Barthello is a non-playable character from the Final Fantasy X series. He is the surly guardian of Dona.
Final Fantasy X
Barthello is introduced alongside Dona at Kilika Temple. Barthello also shows that he is a big fan of Auron as a legendary guardian and eagerly shakes his hand. Auron even helps calm Barthello after he loses Dona near Macalania.
Final Fantasy X-2
Barthello has sided with New Yevon, dividing him from Dona who has joined the Youth League. He spends much of the game relenting in Kilika Temple, and even breaks Shinra's SphereComm with his wails. However, after the two sides mend their ways, Dona and Barthello are reunited.
