Bartholomew Estheim is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIII. He is Hope Estheim's father and the husband of Nora Estheim. Prior to Bartholomew's introduction, Hope portrays his father as uncaring, and doubts that he will be welcome back home now that he is a l'Cie. However, when Hope finally returns home, Bartholomew is supportive of his son, and intends to help the party.
