Biggs

Biggs is a reoccuring character name in the Final Fantasy series. He often makes brief or minor appearances with Wedge. They were named after two Star Wars pilots, Biggs Darklighter and Wedge Antilles.

Biggs has a short role in VI along with Wedge. He is only seen in the beginning escorting Terra to the frozen esper.

Biggs is a non-playable character and a member of AVALANCHE. He takes part in the destruction of the Mako Reactors in Sectors 1 and 5. Initially, he is rather rude to Cloud Strife and does not like his "attitude". But after Cloud proves his worth to AVALANCHE, Biggs ends up respecting him. Biggs is killed early in the game, along with Wedge and Jessie, when Reno destroys the Sector 7 tower.

Biggs is the name of a machine that Zack must shoot down during his escape.

A WRO soldier mentions that she had a brother that belonged to an Anti-Shinra group. She goes on to say that her brother was killed in the Sector 7 bombing, implying that either Biggs or Wedge was her brother.

Biggs is a re-occuring boss battle in FFVIII, along with his subordinate, Wedge. Biggs is the superior of the two in rank, beginning as a Major but losing a rank after every confrontation with SeeD. The two are often used as comic relief.

Biggs is a free agent blitzball player in Final Fantasy X. He is located at the main gate in Luca, and can be recruited for 100 gil per match.
