Strategy

Make sure to have Bahumut,Neo Bahumut and Ramuh assigned to different members of your party. You can have them all on the one person, but this will make there Max HP drop, and your going to need all the HP you can get for this boss. Make sure one person in your party has the "Enemy Skill" materia with Big Guard learned. Also make sure everyone has Lightning, upto atleast Bolt 2. Have someone equiped with level 3 restore materia, (upto regen) in a combined slot with all. If you want, have your physical attacker with lightning+added effect, so that normal attacks deal lightning damage. Have everyone's limit gauges full, so that upon entering battle your Time bar will fill up quickly. As soon as you can, depending on what character charged first, Use there summon or if it was the character with the Big Guard, use Big Guard first. Then, the next two turns will be your summons. Then, regardless of your HP, cast your regen+all. Now, Use your Limits. It should destroy both the arms. if not, start focusing on them, making sure to keep your M-Barrier and Regen up. Eventually, if you don't destroy them fast enough, they will grab a member and won't let go. you must destroy the arm, but the character held will be damaged too. Hopefully the arm is weakened enough that you can kill it without inflicting to much damage to the character. Don't let your HP drop below 1000. if it drops below 700, immidently cure that person. Repeadtly use bolt, it should die before you run out of MP. if not, use items. if you have no MP restorers, use your physical attacker with Lightning+Added Effect. If you still have summons, use them now. Don't start getting cocky. You may have already been a victim to Lapis Laser, so you will know how deadly it can be..unfortunatley, Carry Armour starts using it alot more (it pratically becomes it's only attack from here untill it's death..) Remembering to make sure that your characters are still under haste or, big guard has been re-casted. Overall, if you have Bahumut,Neo-Bahumut and Ramuh at Level 2, you can pratically beat it in 6 turns. However if you are doing that, it's still wise to have Big Guard and Regen+All in effect.
