What Are the Crimson Spheres?
In Final Fantasy X-2, there are a total of ten Crimson Spheres hidden around Spira, that can be obtained during the game. These spheres allow you to enter the Den of Woe, located on the bottom level of Mushroom Rock Road. This cave is a very special place. There are no items within the Den, but you get to fight a series of very interesting battles while inside: Your friends! The Den is the true representation of Woe, as there is nothing worse than attacking your own friends. Inside you will fight Rikku, Paine, Baralai, Gippal, and Nooj. Caution: Yuna must face the Den alone.

| Crimson Sphere 2 | Chapter 3 | Obtain directly after defeating Ixion. |
| Crimson Sphere 3 | Chapter 3 | Obtain directly after defeating Ixion. |
| Crimson Sphere 4 | Chapter 3 | Obtained from a chest in Leblanc's treasure room within the Chateu. |
| Crimson Sphere 5 | Chapter 4 | Obtained from Leblanc after the 1000 Words Concert. |
| Crimson Sphere 6 | Chapter 5 | Obtained in the Via Infinito Level 0. |
| Crimson Sphere 7 | Chapter 2 | Recived after visiting the Den of Woe after the chocobo event on the Mi'ihen Highroad regardless of affiliation. |
| Crimson Sphere 8 | Chapter 5 | Obtained in Via Infinito Cloister 20 |
| Crimson Sphere 9 | Chapter 1 | Received after reaching the Den of Woe during the Foggy Fiend Frenzy mission. |
| Crimson Sphere 10 | Chapter 2 | Directly obtained in Logos and Ormi's room in Chateu Leblanc. |
