Dark Ifrit is an optional boss in the International and PAL versions of Final Fantasy X.
Location
Go to Bikenel Island and go all the way north to where HOME was. Talk to the guy and he will tell you that he has last his child. Agree to search and the man and Dark Ifrit will attack you whilst your out looking for the Child.
Recommended Battle Strategy
Ifrit isn't too hard to beat, remember to equip Fire Eater armor, as sometimes he uses fire elemental abilities which can heal you. Try to get Wakka in your team and make sure you've trained him up more so than before and use his overdrive when you can. Its a good idea to set the overdrive gauge to Comrade as your likely to loose a lot of health. Two- three Attack Reels should do the trick, and if you can also use Tidus's Blitz Ace. Use Haste to make quick work of Ifrit.
