Dark Magus Sisters are a trio of optional bosses in the International and PAL versions of Final Fantasy X.

Location

Mushroom Rock Road, to the south of the turning leading to the valley

Note

You can fight the Magus Sisters One At a time or all together, it is generally easier to fight them one by one, but I shall give you the technique with which you can defeat them on their own and all together.

To get them Alone

When you first encounter all 3 of them run to the left straight away and into the next screen which is Mushroom Rock road. Here, take the glyph lift up to the next level and you will told about he game. Basically what you have to do is run away from the 3 sisters. If you manage to get about half way then the fat sister will drop out of the chase, and you will only have to fight the other 2. If you manage to make it all the way to the precipice then you can fight them one by one.

Recommended Battle Strategy

The Dark Magus Sisters are difficult to beat if you are not prepared. You can fight all three of them at once, or split the battle into pieces by running away. When fought individually, the sisters are not difficult. Use Quick Hit along with Tidus and Wakka's overdrives to eliminate the sisters one by one. Auto-Phoenix will keep you alive, and you can block Mega Graviton with aeons or survive it with Ribbon. Just watch out for Dark Sandy because she can Petrify and shatter your characters with her normal attack unless you have Ribbon or Stoneproof. Against all three sisters, the battle is only a little bit harder. You can quickly and easily beat the three of them by Doublecasting Ultima and using Delta Attack. This will deal enough damage to kill Dark Mindy before the sisters have a chance to use their Delta Attack. After that, the Dark Magus Sisters can be easily finished off with another Delta Attack and a few more Ultimas. If you don't want to use magic, the battle will be similar to when fighting against a single sister, but significantly harder. Auto-Phoenix will protect you from most attacks, but again you should have at least Stoneproof to protect against Dark Sandy. You will have to summon the Magus Sisters to protect yourself from Delta Attack at the beginning of the battle, because you won't be able to kill Dark Mindy in time without magic. Once Dark Mindy is dead, just keep an eye out for Mega Graviton and make sure you block it with an aeon if you don't have Ribbon.
