Digital Mind Wave

Digital Mind Wave, or DMW, is a slot machine like display, that has 3 slots, and numbers displayed to the left of the slots. The numbers go up to 7. The slots go through characters faces. There are 7 characters:

Cloud
Angeal
Sephiroth
Tseng
Cissnei
Aerith
Genesis

Each character gives you different benefits. Cloud, Genesis, Angeal, Sephiroth, and Tseng's are just moves that play a cutscene of you performing numerous hits on your enemy and racking up damage. Cissnei's 'Lucky Stars' gives you critical hits for an elapsed time. Aerith's heal wave heals a very large amount of heath. The numbers that appear next to the characters faces are very crucial to gameplay. If you get 2 or 3 of the same numbers in a row, you can get critical, invincibility, or other benefit for an elapsed amount of time. Three 7's will earn you a level up. Before the 3rd aligning person, a blue screen will appear, and display 1-5 images from the games CGI scenes. Whatever amount you get, that will determine the level of the attack. Levels determine how much damage, or how long side effects last. Although, the 3rd aligning person can change. (example: Sepiroth; Cloud; Sephiroth).
