Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus is a third person shooter/role playing-game hybrid developed for the Sony Playstation 2. It is part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. Set three years after the original events of Final Fantasy VII, Dirge of Cerberus follows the story of Vincent Valentine as he searches for the answers to questions that have plagued his past.

Plot

Dirge of Cerberus takes place three years after the events of Final Fantasy VII. Unlike the first game and Advent Children, the protagonist of this installation is Vincent Valentine, who in Final Fantasy VII awoke from a self-induced coma lasting several decades upon being found by Cloud.
