[edit] Final Fantasy VII

Elena joins the Turks after the party injures Reno during their boss fight atop the Sector 7 plate. The party meets her for the first time in Mythril Mine where she accidentally tells them Sephiroth's location. Elena tends to take her job more seriously than Reno or Rude, and is usually shocked at their laid-back attitudes. While resting in Wutai, she is captured by Don Corneo along with Yuffie. Strapped to Da Chao, she is rescued by Reno, Rude, and Cloud's party. The only boss encounter with Elena is an optional battle in the Midgar subway.

[edit] Reno, Rude, & Elena

During the storyline in the underground Midgar, you will once again run into the Turks. You have the option of fighting them, or saying you don't feel like fighting. It doesn't affect anything in the storyline, so you can make either choice.

[edit] Strategy

Elena is nothing note worthy and is a souped-up soldier. She'll spend most of the battle throwing grenades. Now, the great thing about this battle is that depleting one of the Turks HP will mean they all run off. They all have a HP of roughly 25,000. Having gotten this far, the strategy of defeating them is rather obvious. One thing to note is that they each absorb an element. Reno is healed by Lightning attacks, Rude by Fire attacks, and Elena by Ice attacks.

Note: Like last time, if Tifa is in your party, Rude will not attack her unless the other party members are KO'd. Even so, there is a two in three chance that he will hesitate instead of attacking her. Again, if he does attack her, it is only with Shoulder Attack.

Elena has only a minor role in the film. At the opening scene, she and Tseng's voices are heard during their investigation at the Northern Crater. She warns Reno to escape, and her fate is left a mystery. When Rufus Shinra first encounters Kadaj, hers and Tseng's IDs are shown to be splattered with blood. She is later mentioned by Vincent Valentine to have been found at the Forgotten Capital badly tortured. Elena is first seen in the film rescuing Rufus Shinra from his fall during his fight with Kadaj. Her final appearance is near the end standing with her fellow Turks witnessing Rufus' cure from Geostigma.

[edit] Quotes

"In any case, our job is to find out where Sephiroth is headed. And to try and stop you every step of the way. Wait a minute, it's the other way around... You're the ones that are getting in our way." (FFVII)
"Reno, do you think that was really such a good idea!? I mean is that the way a professional, a Turk would act!?" (FFVII)
"Tseng! Look at this!" (Advent Children)
"Not a pretty sight huh?" (Advent Children)
