In Final Fantasy XII, the traditional take-turn battle system is given a twist. Player will not be able to individually control each unit on the field in this game, but rather, be able to command units to attack others. Units will automatically attack or move in respect to what you command and do said actions themselves. When entering battle a new area will not occur but remain in real time.
