Galuf Halm Baldesion is one of the main playable characters of Final Fantasy V. Often referred to as an old coot, Galuf is a man of many mysteries and no memory. He was discovered by both Bartz and Lenna at the crash site of a giant meteor. Claiming that he does not know anything other than his name, he joins the party with a fervent desire to prevent the crystals from shattering. Old, wise, witty and sometimes sarcastic, Galuf is a very amiable travel partner.
