Grendel is a reoccurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy VIII

Scan Info

   A smaller type of Dragon, sometimes appears in groups of 2. May be more dangerous than 
   other Dragons.

• Draw - Firaga, Blizzaga, Double
• Weak to Ice, Wind, Earth
• Mug - Dragon Fins

 Notes: Uses special move Breath when on low HP; deals Thunder damage to all. Find in 
        Ultimecia's Castle and on the Island Closest to Hell. 30000 HP at Level 100.

Final Fantasy X

Grendel appears at Mt. Gagazet and the Zanarkand Ruins. The Ronso Rage "Fire Breath" can be learned from this enemy. It drops weapons with Piercing, Firestrike, or Silencetouch, and armor with HP +10%.

Resistance: Poison (25%), Sleep (80%), Darkness (95%), Petrify (25%), Zombie (25%), Death (50%)
