From Final Fantasy - Wiki on Neoseeker
Guadosalam is a city from Final Fantasy X and X-2, that serves as the home of the Guado. It is located in the center of the main continent, north of the Moonflow. There are several layers to the town littered with homes and shops through the branches of the trees. At the very top is the Farplane where citizens can visit to see images of their departed loved ones.
At the center of Guadosalam is a large mansion, home to Seymour. Here, the party sees a projection of Zanarkand in its prime, and where Seymour proposes to Yuna. The party also visits the Farplane where Wakka speaks with his brother, Chappu, Yuna sees her parents, and Tidus sees his mother.

The Guado have left Guadosalam in shame. It has become the base for the Leblanc Syndicate, a rival sphere-hunting group. The mansion has become Leblanc's home, and a new secret location is available here as well behind a wall in the living room. Tobli also resides in Guadosalam near the shop. The Farplane is still available to visitors, but Yuna (and thus the player) chooses not to enter. By the end of the game, however, the Guado return with the musicians from Macalania to restore their former lives.
