Introduction

Monsters possessing items that can be used as catalysts for materia fusion have been found in the plains. We wish to exactly determine the types of items and monsters present. Go to the site, bash the monsters, and collect the items.

Enemies

• Bomb
• Dual Horn (boss battle)
• King Scarab (boss battle)

Strategy

There are no chests in this mission, so proceed directly west from the starting point to find the boss. Quickly get rid of the King Scarabs with regular critical attacks so you can focus on the Dual Horn. It is extremely slow moving, so just get behind it to avoid its attacks and use regular critical attacks to defeat it.
