Ixion
Ixion in FFX

Ixion is the third Aeon encountered in Final Fantasy X. Ixion is given to Yuna by the Fayth of Djose. For Ixion to break damage limit you must have Kimahri's Celestial Weapon, the Spirit Lance, which must be partially powered with either the Sigil or the Crest.

Ixion makes a reappearance in the game's sequel, Final Fantasy X-2. See Ixion (FFX-2) for more information.

[edit] Belgemine's Ixion

Belgemine's Ixion is fought twice during the course of the game. Both are optional battles, but you must fight and defeat her aeons in order to obtain the Magus Sisters.

Belgemine will offer a "friendly contest of Aeons" to help Yuna train for the final summoning. For defeating him the first time, Belgemine will hand over 2 Dragon Scales and the Summoner's Soul. Any subsequent battles won against Ixion will reward the party with 6 Smoke Bombs.

Belgemine will once again offer a challenge to help Yuna train. After defeating her Ixion at Remiem Temple the first time, she will give Yuna 10 Chocobo Feathers. Any subsequent battles won against Ifrit will reward the party with 8 Power Spheres.

Inside Sin, the Aeons are possessed by Yu Yevon. Since these are Yuna's Aeons, Ixion's stats will be equivalent to his stats under Yuna's direction. Therefore, the more leveled up he was, the higher his stats will be. Ixion's status immunities are the same as previous battles.
