Marnela is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy X-2. She is an adult cactuar who's appearance is that of a normal cactus. Marnela is able to communicate by moving her branches back and forth, using Benzo as a translator. She recruits the Gullwings to find the Ten Gatekeepers who are scattered across Spira, so that they may help destroy the menace of the desert. While the girls are gone, Marnela uses all of her strength to hold back the enemy.
