Migelo is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XII. He is the proprietor of Migelo's Sundries in Rabanastre. Migelo often takes care of the orphans of the city, particularly Penelo, Vaan, and Kytes. He sends them on errands in exchange for payment. Like Penelo, Migelo holds Vaan to a higher standard of "leader" of the orphans.
Migelo is charged with organizing a banquet for Vayne Solidor, the new Consul of Dalmasca. After Vayne's speech, Migelo introduces himself to Vayne in a subservient manner. Even though Vayne discourages this behavior, Vaan continues to disapprove of Vayne and people's acceptance of his arrival. Penelo rejects Vaan's theory, and explains that Migelo doesn't want to treat Vayne as such, but must be in compliance with Archadia's new rule for his own safety.
When Vaan and Basch reunite with Balthier and Fran in the tavern, Migelo bursts in demanding that Balthier rescue Penelo. He informs the party that Ba'Gamnan has kidnapped Penelo in exchange for Balthier's surrender. This is the last time that Migelo is seen in the direct storyline, but if the player returns later and speaks to him, Migelo will scold Vaan for taking so long to let him know that Penelo is safe.
