Halim Ondore IV (title Marquis Ondore) is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XII. Ondore has the honor of narrating parts of the story by reading excerpts from his memoirs. Though Ondore is working for the Archadian Empire, he is secretly the leader of the Resistance and commands their flagship, Garland.

After Raminas' murder, Ondore announces to Ivalice that Basch fon Ronsenburg murdered the king of Dalmasca, and that the princess Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca had committed suicide. By this announcement, Ashe is forced to take a pseudonym and later joins the Resistance, unbeknownst to Ondore.

As the Marquis of Bhujerba, Ondore was the head of the Bhujerba Magicite Mines. When the Empire threatened to invade the neutral city for its plentiful veins of magicite, Ondore chose to instead to give Vayne the purest of the magicite for study at Draklor Laboratory. This kept the city free from attack, but also forced Bhujerba to be an unoffical colony for the state. Ondore typically discusses magicite matters with Judge Ghis, who referred to him as a horse of the empire. When Basch raises his sword to Ondore, the group is forced into the Leviathan, causing the second clash with the empire.

After Ashe and her party escape the Leviathan, they seek Ondore's advice on what to do next. Ondore, though happy to see Ashe alive, offers little help, explaining that he cannot offer aid without proof of her lineage. He is referred to as Ashe's uncle, but it is unknown if he truly is her uncle or if this is just an honorary title.

Eventually, Ondore leads the Resistance into battle against Archadia's sky fortress Bahamut. Little action is necessary, however, as the player party manages to defeat Vayne inside the fortress, and Ashe and Larsa declare peace.
