The monsters we've encountered are so ridiculously powerful that SOLDIER operatives are struggling to stay in the fight. 2nd and 3rd Class operatives cannot go any further. We're counting on you.

[edit] Strategy

An option for the Jatayu and Garuda random encounters is to equip the Bolt Armlet which absorbs their lightning attacks or a Thunder Armlet which makes Zack immune. Dualcast Graviga on them and finish them off with Assault Twister+.

After accepting this mission, walk along the path, and just past the bend is a Flare chest. Continue north past the intersection, and just past the bend you will find a Silver Bracer chest. Proceed north and along the northern wall is a Hero Drink. Continue until you reach the intersection and proceed east. After a few steps, grab the Drainga from the chest. Continue until you see the boss, but before engaging, take the Electrocute chest in the northwest corner of the area.

Engage the boss and immediately Dualcast Graviga. Avoid its front, and continue casting Graviga and finish it off with an Assault Twister+. If you're fast enough, you can kill it before it spawns a Mama Grangalan. If it does, however, just continue casting Graviga and stay away from the mouths of these foes. Finish off the Mama Grangalan with Assault Twister+ then get back to work on the Grannygalan.
