[edit] Strategy
All Tonberries in this mission can be tough. They will disappear and reappear right next to you. When you do that, dodge immediately to avoid its knife attack. Repeatedly Dualcast Graviga to greatly reduce its HP. When it's low enough, use a simple Assault Twister+ to finish it off. This strategy works with the random encounters as well as the Tonberry King.
From the starting point, head north along the path and when you make your way around the gap, grab the Fat Chocobo Feather. Continue on the path until you arrive at an intersection. Head west for the next two chests. Backtrack to the intersection and proceed south. Just before the gap, grab the Magic Master chest. Continue until you reach the open area in the west. The boss is on the west side, but instead head a bit north and grab the Adamantite chest. Continue into the northwest of the area and head north up the path for the SP Turbo Attack chest. Return down the path back to the open area. Continue directly south for the boss. Use the strategy above to defeat the Tonberry King.
