The world of Ivalice included a variety of races; some living together -- others, fighting to keep their land safe. Many wars have been fought between warring nations, in which many have been killed, or have led to isolation of a certain race.

Bangaa

Evolved very closely from Reptiles. Four types of Bangaa varying from color, and body features.

Ruga-Bangaa

Have yellow-brown skin with short ears are more gentle than the other bangaas.

Faas-Bangaa

Have bronze skin with great athletic abilities. In the Bangaa language "Faas" means Soldier.

Bista-Bangaa

Copper skinned

Sanga-Bangaa

Grey skinned

Hume

Make up a large population in Ivalice. Most law-officials are of the Hume race. The only race that struggles for power within each other.

Moogles

Small Bat-like Wings and Very intelligent creatures. Possess great knowledge in mechanics. The only race capable of creating air-ships. They Developed their own form of technology called 'Etoria'.

Seeq

Evolved from pigs. Although they seem to be quite heavy, they have great speed, great upper body strength, and defense. However, they aren't very civilized; most become thieves.

Viera

Have heightened senses than all the races. Made up of mostly female. They have reproduced with Hume race, and have created a mixed race. They Usually live together in deep forests.

Veena Viera

Have lighter skin/hair. Most likely mixed with Hume.

Rava Viera

Usually have brown skin/hair.
