Reddas is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XII that joins the party as a guest. He is a sky pirate based in Balfonheim Port, where he acts as the authority figure. The party first encounters Reddas at Draklor Laboratory, sent by Ondore. Reddas parts ways from the party to send ships to Ridorana Cataract. However, when none of his ships return, Reddas gives Balthier a skystone for the Strahl, allowing it to fly to Ridorana.

The player learns that Reddas was once named Foris Zecht, a Judge Magister of the Archadian Imperial Army. As a trusted Judge of Emperor Gramis, Zecht performed operations of espionage and other reprehensible deeds. At the time of the Archadian/Nabradian war, Archadia recovered the Midlight Shard. With this object, Zecht traveled to Nabudis under the orders of Dr. Cid and destroyed the city with the power of the nethicite. After the incident, Zecht regretted his involvement and left his position as Judge Magister. Zecht would later be replaced by Gabranth while he became a sky pirate, taking the alias "Reddas". He fled to Balfonheim Port where he removed Imperial influence and corruption, earning the unofficial title as leader.

The party, with Reddas as their guest, proceed to the Pharos at Ridorana, where they engage in the battles against Gabranth and Dr. Cid. At the Sun-Cryst, Ashe contemplates her actions. Reddas takes the Sword of Kings from Ashe, and attacks the Sun-Cryst, destroying it in a mighty explosion that kills him.

When the party returns to Balfonheim with the news of Reddas' death, Elza isn't surprised, claiming that Reddas was searching for a way to die. Raz and Rikken disagree, but eventually accept their leader's death.
