Reference to Zelda

Description
Have you ever been to the town of Elfheim in Final Fantasy I, and wondered if this town may resemble Hyrule from our top favorite Nintendo elf? Well, while Squaresoft was still a small company working for a bigger company--creators of Dragon Quest--they decided to jeopardize their company, and go on their own. They were developing their own franchise --Final Fantasy-- and while at it, they had a relationship with Nintedo, which went bitter due to certain problems. Well, Final Fantasy needed to be better then all other RPG games, and their main competition was Dragon Quest and [w.zelda:The Legend of Zelda|The Legend of Zelda]]. So they needed to make class changes, universal or particular weapons/accessories, and lots of adventures. While at it, Squaresoft needed to show that other RPG games were no match for Final Fantasy, so what will be the best way to show that other games aren't as great as Final Fantasy? That's right, have a main character's name written in a tombstone! And what makes it even better is that the person that is dead is named Link.
Well, we could just think it is another person by the name of Link, but the village's name is Elfheim; a village of elf's and a castle up to the north! Very familiar with Hyrule, this village is just a plain Zelda reference.
Although not official, this is what the gamers of the past and today found out, and rumored about.
Just to add, doesn't that green elf look like Link? Enjoy!
