Rikku is one of the main playable characters of the Final Fantasy X series. Rikku is a giddy young Al Bhed girl. She always seems to find the fun in everything.

Rikku is one of the first people that Tidus meets in Spira, jumping in to aid him in battle and taking him prisoner. They become separated during an attack by Sin, but she later shows up on the Moonflow after an attempt at kidnapping Yuna. When she first joins the party she seems unsually attached to Yuna, so much so that she gives Yuna her own nickname ("Yunie"). It is later revealed that this is because she is Yuna's cousin through her father, Cid. She is eventually the one to reveal to Tidus the fate of Yuna and all summoners should they defeat Sin.

Rikku is one of the members of the Gullwings, still maintaining her cheerful disposition. She is the one who brought the sphere that Kimahri found on Gagazet to Yuna, causing her to join the group.

Y.R.P appear in Hollow Bastion as agents of Maleficent. During the Heartless' attack, the Gullwings help the Restoration Committee fight and even give Sora a Keyblade representing the three girls (an angel's wing at the top for Yuna, bows as the main body for Rikku, and Paine's cross ).
