The supposed plans for Genesis's main forces to attack Midgar were merely a diversion. A special operations unit has already infiltrated Midgar. Eliminate the enemy on sight.

Proceed north and grab the chest. When you come to the intersection, the boss is on the exact opposite side, so it doesn't matter which direction you choose. Engage the boss all the way in the west. Take out the Sweepers first with a Costly Punch or Hell Thundaga. Use an Assault Twister+ if the enemies gang up on you. After the Sweepers are gone, you can focus on the Devastator. Start with a Costly Punch and follow it up with your best magic attacks. Use the Osmoga you just received two missions ago if you're running low on MP.
