Shemhazai is a Soul-Elemental Esper from Final Fantasy XII. Shemhazai's attacks are:

• Loading Attack
• Soul Emit (Deathblow)

It will use Soul Emit when it is defeated or when the timer runs out with enemies around.

Shemhazai is encountered during the storyline as a boss fight in Giruvegan.

Strategy

Shemhazai will use the Mana Spring ability, becoming weak against one random element, but absorbs all others. It’s best to focus on physical attacks, and make sure you don’t have any elemental weapons equipped. Also, have an anti-Silence gambit and an anti-Disease gambit equipped to at least one of your characters. Open the battle by casting Dispel to void her Haste spell. She may also cast Syphon, which transfers one of your ally’s MP to her. When her HP drops to critical level, she’ll use Silencega, but if you have the gambit, it’ll be ok. She can also cast Disease along with a regular attack. Use a Quickening chain when Shemhazai’s HP gets low to finish her off.
