Shiva is a re-occurring summon in the Final Fantasy series who takes the form of a blue woman and is associated with the Ice element.

Shiva is avaliable as a summon.

  • Jobs: Evoker, Sage, Summoner
  • White Summon: Inflicts sleep status upon all enemies
  • Black Summon: Damages all enemies with an icy glare
  • High Summon: Damages all enemies with ice crystals

Final Fantasy VI

Shiva is an Esper that appears in the Magitek Facility in Vector alongside Ifrit. During the boss battle with Ifrit, they sense Ramuh’s presence with the party and cease the attack. Shiva and Ifrit then turn themselves into magicite in order to help the party. Shiva also reveals that she and Ramuh are brother and sister.

Shiva materia is obtained from Priscilla in lower Junon after the boss fight with Bottomswell. Her special attack is called Diamond Dust, which does Ice damage to all enemies.


Final Fantasy VIII

Shiva

Shiva is one of the two GFs given at Balamb Garden. Shiva uses the ice-based attack called Diamond Dust. She, like Quezacotl, is fairly strong in the beginning of the game. She can learn Doom and can turn items into Ice/Water magic.

Final Fantasy IX

Shiva is one of Princess Garnet’s Eidelons that can be learned from the item Opal. Shiva’s history in this game reveals that she was discovered by summoners as a child, but in the present day she appears in the form of a woman.

Location: Macalania Temple

The fourth Aeon encountered in the story, Shiva is given to Yuna by the Fayth of Macalania. Being an ice type, Ice based attacks will heal Shiva, whereas Fire based attacks will deal double damage. For Shiva to break damage limit you must have Lulu's Celestial Weapon, the Onion Knight, which must also be partially powered with either the Sigil or the Crest.

Belgemine's Shiva

You will fight Belgemine's Shiva twice during the course of the game. Both are optional battles, but you must fight and defeat her aeons to obtain the Moon Sigil.


Calm Lands

Shiva has 15,000 HP and 900 MP. You'll receive 30 Power Spheres and the Aeon's Soul for defeating her the first time, and 30 Speed spheres each time after that.

Immune: Silence, Poison, Slow, Sleep, Threaten, Provoke, Power Break, Armor Break, Blind, Petrify, Zombie, Death, Sensor, Scan, Delay Attack, Magic Break, Mental Break


Strategy

Have Ifrit in full Overdrive mode. Use Hellfire as soon as he's summoned.


Remiem Temple

Shiva has 20,000 HP and 950 MP. You'll receive 60 Mega-Potions for defeating her the first time, and 6 Star Curtains each time after that.

Inside Sin, the Aeons are possessed by Yu Yevon. Since these are Yuna's Aeons, Shiva's stats will be equivilent to his stats under Yuna's direction.

Final Fantasy XII

The Shiva was the ship of the eighth fleet where Lady Ashe and her party were taken aboard after their capture on the exit of the Tomb of Raithwall. Upon this ship, a fight with one of the Loyal Captains of the Dalmascan army, Vossler, took place, between him and several Imperials against Lady Ashe and the people she was with. During this time, the Dawn Shard was tested on board the Leviathan's engines, where the power is drained caused an implosion on board, wiping out the eighth Archaidian fleet with all known hands lost.


Final Fantasy XIII

Shiva Sisters & Snow

Shiva has been one of the Eidolons featured prominently in the trailers. As Snow Villiers special summon, she takes the form of two sisters, Nix and Styria. They combine in EX mode to form a motorcycle for Snow to ride.


Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Shiva appears in Dissidia as both Auto and Manual summonstones. Her Manual summon effect lasts longer than the Auto summon. Shiva's Manual summon can be used by pressing Alt text & Alt text during battle.
