Technicks in Final Fantasy XII are actions you can do like magicks but with no MP cost, similar to abilities or skills in other Final Fantasy games. Certain technicks you can only use in certain situations; for example: you can't use Poach unless the target HP is critical.

1000 Needles
Effect: Deals 1000 phd to one foe. Damage is not affected by Damage Resist passive ability, can cure Sleep/confuse status effect.

Achilles
Effect: One foe gains a new elemental weakness. You can make the foe weak to all eight elements.

Addle
Effect: Reduces MAG of one foe.

Bonecrusher
Effect: User expends own HP to KO one foe. If tech misses, user undergoes KO.

Charge
Effect: User recovers some MP. The higher the MP when user performs the tech, the higher the chance it will fail. If tech misses, user's MP is dropped to zero (0).

Charm
Effect: Adds Confuse to one foe.

Expose
Effect: Reduces DEF of one foe.

First Aid
Effect: Restores some HP to one ally in Critical HP.

Gil Toss
Effect: Use gil to deal physical damage to all foes in range.

Horology
Effect: Deals phd to all foes in range, based on a factor of time.

Infuse
Effect: User expends all current MP to change HP of one ally to ten times of that amount (new HP = MP expended x 10).

Libra
Effect: User gains Libra - reveals traps, foe's current and MAX HP and any elemental weaknesses foe may have.

Numerology
Effect: Deals damage to all foes in range. Damage increases with successive hits.

Poach
Effect: Instantly defeat foe in Critical HP to obtain loot. Poached foes don't drop any EXP, LP, clan points, loot bags or gil.

Revive
Effect: User expends all of his/her HP to revive one KOed ally. User undergoes KO, even if using on alive target other than self.

Shades of Black
Effect: User randomly casts one of 18 black magic spells on one foe / all foes in range. There is 88% chance user will cast one of following: Fire, Thunder, Blizzard, Water, Aero, Fira, Thundara, Blizzara, Bio. There is 12% chance user will cast one of following: Aeroga, Firaga, Thundaga, Blizzaga, Shock, Scourge, Flare, Ardor, Scathe.

Shear
Effect: Reduces magick resist of one foe.

Sight Unseeing
Effect: User must be under Blind, otherwise tech misses. It will reduce HP of one foe to a single digit between 1~8 HP. Works wonderful for Poach attempts afterwards.

Souleater
Effect: User consumes 20% of MAX HP to inflict DEF-ignoring phd to one foe. If you use this tech against undead foe, you will heal it instead of damaging it.

Stamp
Effect: All statuses currently in effect on the user are transferred to one target. Statuses added/gained after Stamp has begun charging for execution are NOT transferred. Critical HP status is the only one that cannot be transferred. If you Stamp statuses gained thru equipment, it will be just as if you would be casting it. Otherwise, the duration of transferred statuses is the same as in the moment when Stamp was used. For explanation of what I mean Petrify one of your chrs, let the counter reach 5, and then use Stamp on the foe.

Steal
Effect: Steal an item from one foe. Once item is stolen, foe will not have any more items. Go away two screens, then return in order for foe's items to be restocked. Foe with green HP bar (non-aggressive) will restock items when you go one screen away.

Telekinesis
Effect: Deal ranged damage with melee weapon to one foe. If you use ranged weapon, tech will miss. Tech ignores Evade.

Traveler
Effect: Deals phd to all foes in range, based on amount of total steps taken.
