Introduction
In this area, the natives refer to a creature as the "Great Beast". All we know is that it is indeed extremely large; all other facts are cloaked in mystery. Go to its supposed location and find the truth about this creature.

Strategy
Head north and follow the linear path to pick up the first two chests. At the first intersection, take the east path to grab the Gysahl Greens. Return to the main path and continue south. Follow the path and take the Blizzaga Blade on the way. When you reach the open area, you’ll see the boss straight ahead, but there are two more chests in the area. Move to the west and find the Mythril Armlet on the central pillar. Continue north along the path for the Sniper Eye chest. Equip items to protect against Poison, Stun, and Silence before engaging the boss. Like all malboros, the Gaea Malboro has a breath attack that will drive you crazy with status effects, although it is easy enough to avoid. It has a massive amount of HP compared to previous mission foes. Regular critical hits are easy enough to come by, but that will make it a long battle, so stick with Costly Punch, Hell magic, or Graviga to wear it down while dodging its attacks.
