Final Fantasy X

Valefor is the first Summon that you utilize in Final Fantasy X, given to you by the Fayth at Besaid. Initially, Valefor will have a damage limit of 9999, which can be lifted by acquiring the Yuna's Celestial Weapon Nirvana, and powering it up either with the Crest or Sigil.

Abilities

Valefor is the only Aeon in the game that has two Overdrives. The first is called Energy Ray, and the second is called Energy Blast. You can get the second overdrive for Valefor by returning to Besaid Village and first talking to the woman in the shop who will then tell you about her dog, who has dug something up. If you then talk to the dog, Valefor will learn his second overdrive Energy Blast.

If you return for this later in the game, the shop owner and her dog will be in a different location within the village. Only the owner will have to be addressed if this is the case. However if you do return later, beware of the Dark incarnation of Valefor.
