Vayne Novus is the second incarnation of Vayne Solidor during the final boss battle of Final Fantasy XII, and fights alongside the swords Sephira.

Strategy

Vayne Novus is tough enough without the swords flying around. Cast Dispel on Vayne and stack up Haste, Protect, and Shell on your party. You’ll have the help of Gabranth here so focus on the swords first. You can use a Quickening chain if you like to try and get rid of the swords, too. Even though there’s another boss fight coming up, it’s not a problem to use your MP, especially if you have reserve Elixirs. Use them and any of your items as you please since this is what you’ve been hoarding them for. Make sure you stay healed because there’s still one more fight after this one.
