Wedge is a re-occurring character name in the Final Fantasy series. He often makes brief or minor appearances with Biggs. They were named after two Star Wars pilots, Biggs Darklighter and Wedge Antilles.

Wedge is destroyed early in the game while escorting Terra to the frozen esper.

Wedge is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy VII. He is a member of AVALANCHE and admires Cloud Strife's abilities. Wedge is friendly and kind-hearted, and likes Tifa Lockhart's cooking, which he attributes to why he is so round. He is killed early in the game when Reno destroys the Sector 7 tower.

Wedge is the name of a machine that Zack must shoot down during his escape.

Wedge is a boss character, along with his superior in command, Biggs. Wedge is an incompetent private. The two are often used as comic relief.

Wedge (just like Biggs) is a free agent blitzball player that is located at the main gate in Luca. He can be recruited for 160 gil per match.
