World of Monsters is a mission from Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. For a complete list, visit Missions (FFVII:CC).

Introduction

These battles will be against monsters that have been catalogued by the Shinra Company. You may not have encountered some of them before. Use caution when fighting them.

Enemies

• Demon
• Diceratops (boss battle)
• Magic Pot
• Red Cap

Strategy

Equip the following materia: Blizzaga, Firaga, Thundaga, and Gravity. Before you engage the boss in the east, make sure you randomly encounter a Magic Pot. It will ask you to use certain materia on it. Well you came prepared. Give it what it asks for and after all four, the battle will be over and you will have added the Magic Pot image to the DMW. If you accidentally attack it or use the wrong materia, the Magic Pot will not be happy and will escape the battle.

Before moving on, replace your materia. Don’t bother with magic materia as the boss is immune to it. Instead equip command materia or independent materia. The Diceratops is slow moving, so critical hits will be easy to come by.
