Wutai troops thought destroyed have been sighted in the caves. Their best troopers have quietly moved to lower levels of the caves. Their goals are unknown, but we must halt whatever plans they have. Vanquish the Wutai elites.

[edit] Strategy

Be sure to protect against instant death when accepting this mission (for battles against Crescent Unit Celsus). Also, consider padding VIT and equipping either Barrier or a Protect Ring. Head south from the starting point to find the chest containing Brigand's Gloves. Backtrack and just past where you started is the X-Potion chest. Follow the path around the bend into the open area. Continue to the intersection, and take the southern path. At the bottom of the path is the Phoenix Down. Just ahead is another intersection where you will head south to find the Shining Bracer. Return to the intersection and continue north. Around the bend is the Fat Chocobo Feather. Continue to follow the path until you see the boss. Before engaging, grab the Status Ward chest just north of its position. Immediately after engaging the boss, unleash a series of Costly Punches until all enemies are vanquished.
