We have spotted a detached Wutai army unit on the outskirts of Wutai. We want to prevent any further incidents from them in an already chaotic political environment. Vanquish them before they make a move.

Follow the linear path to the boss, grabbing the X-Potion chest on the way. If you're a lower level character, you may want to equip a Fire Armlet because the Foulanders cast Fire. If you have the Assault Twister materia, this is the perfect time to use it. You'll have a group of four enemies, and you want to go the center of the group and unleash an Assault Twister. If you're protected against Fire, take out the Wutai Sergeant first. (Fire is also easy to dodge.) Use regular critical attacks then focus on the Foulanders which should fall with one or two regular attacks. If you failed to get the Assault Twister materia earlier, try luring one enemy away at a time and using critical attacks on it. Start with the Sergeant first because his attacks are harder to avoid.
